Campaign Donations in the UK: Database
The registry on donations and loans to political parties is administered by the UK Electoral Commission, which is an independent body reporting to Parliament.
The registry provides details (updated on a quarterly basis) on how much is donated by private loans, is loaned, or is provided in public funding to parties.
The register also tallies which organisations and individuals are the biggest providers of donations.
Many of the UK's registered political parties, including the major parties, are required to submit quarterly reports to the Electoral Commission outlining the amount of donations they have received and from whom.
The Commission figures show that in total €65 million was donated to political parties in 2014, with the bulk it going to the Conservative and Labour parties.
